is a joy to introduce you to Calvary Chapel of Western Massachusetts
which is an Outreach Fellowship of Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa, California.
We are a bible teaching church
which is the operating philosophy of Calvary Chapel. And the foundation
scripture on which the church was started by Founder and Pastor Chuck
Smith is found in Ephesians 4: 9-13.
Pastor Chuck Smith explained
that the purpose of the church is

of the Church
"To bring glory to God; to be God's instrument of ministry
to the Lord. But also in a secondary sense, the church exists
for the edifying or the building up of the saints; to bring the
saints into full maturity so that they might engage in the work
of the ministry."

Our goal
in our worship service which is a verse-by-verse teaching from the bible
is: to allow God's Spirit to anoint the teaching of God's Word; powerfully
and effectively reveal Jesus Christ; and provoke believers to the love
and good works which God has called us to walk in as believers.
